One of my favorite type of looks is what I like to call “a sleek 90s Gwyneth Paltrow.” It’s a term I use often with my friends, referring to anything thin, slip-like, simple, straight hair and just amazing.
This is one of those outfits. I picked up this dress in NYC at the Alexander Wang sample sale. I love the cut, the neckline and the thin spaghetti straps (okay high school circa 2001). It’s hard to see in the photo but it also has cut out mesh section around the midline and at the bottom of the dress. Love.
Wearing it with a low belt around the hips and some leopard accents (seen before HERE.). It’s easy, simple and a look I’m sort of obsessed with at the moment.
Speaking of sleek Gywneth Paltrow’s I’ve been looking (for like the past 3 months) for a thin, sleek, slip-like silver dress. Very thin with spaghetti straps- same vibe. Long or short. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
Breaking News!!! In the next month I’m going to be changing my blog name to Peace Love Shea (peaceloveshea.com). For several reasons (more of which I’ll explain later) but also it will sync with all my social media which is all @peaceloveshea. Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Weibo. Everything will re-direct automatically so no need to worry just want to start giving everyone a heads up! XOXO
