I’ve been meaning to share these photos with you of my new house but I’ve been so crazy busy with the holidays and Christmas shopping! I took these pictures before we decorated for Christmas, which is kind of good because now it looks like Santa’s home/ the Redwood forest in here with a tree thats taking up half the living room and garland and poinsettias everywhere. Haha.
We are still slowly but surely decorating things. I’m not a fan of modern interior design for homes. Or big empty rooms. I love homey and cozy and a place with personality. Kind of going with a red/brown/white theme for the living room and then the kitchen and bathroom are just completely charming on their own. With different colored tiles, etc. We love the little things… like colored handles and knobs from Anthropologie, silly bathroom oils, and more candles than any two people need. You might notice a lot of Diana Vreeland books etc, well that’s because my roommate/one of my best friends is her great-granddaughter. We have a lot of things in the house that were Diana’s, like the zebra print/wood stools and this gorgeous gold plaster mirror that we haven’t hung up yet. So I’m thinking it’s bringing good vibes in my fashion career. Haha. I’m loving my new bed from Mortisse and Tenon and all the pillows thanks to DKNY.
Well I hope everyone is having an amazing holiday season!! And for those celebrating Christmas… Merry Christmas tomorrow!! And cheers to whatever you celebrate! I’m off to San Diego to see my family for a few days, then straight to Cabo San Lucas for vacation/New years with my friends. XOXO
