So maybe fringe booties and a crocheted mini dress just isn’t your thing- festival season or not. You aren’t about to be caught dead in a floral headband and a dreamcatcher hanging around your neck.
While lace, fringe, crochet and suede tend to be the go-to festival items of choice- there are so many ways to make sure you’re not “that girl”- aka the same girl as everyone else.
Don’t get me wrong, personally I love a little fringe and lace but I wanted to put together an styling sesh for the girl thinking outside the box.
First and most importantly you need something comfortable to walk in- leave the heels at home. Lace up sandals, fringe booties, or for the cool girl with a 90’s vibe- flatform Tevas from the spring collection. Love!
I’ve mixed a bunch of spring trends but in an untypical way. Overalls- but black leather instead of ripped denim, fringe but in the form of a printed multicolored shirt, high wasted white denim flares, a 90’s Calvin Klein sports bra instead of a bikini and a Rag & Bone windbreaker instead of a fringe leather jacket for the chilly desert nights.
Take a risk sometimes and make your own statement.
