So I’m sure we are all scrambling last minute to finish up our holiday shopping! I’m proud to say I’m 100% done as of yesterday. This is the first time ever I’ve been so prepared. Usually I’m crowding the mall on Christmas eve hoping that none of my giftees are going to want to return their gift, and the embarrassment I’ll feel when they look at the receipt and see I purchased it the day before Christmas. Haha.
Picking out gifts can be hard, so I’m here to help you with a few ideas and show you some of the gifts I am giving this year. A little behind the scenes of gift wrapping at my home with Santa’s Helper (Kat Moss.)
1) Fancy candles- the all-time gift go to for anyone. From your boss, to your mom, aunt, neighbor, or friend, you can’t go wrong with a great candle. A diptyque candle (which I’m obsessed with) costs a good $60 dollars and it’s something a lot of people won’t buy themselves- which makes it such a great present to get. Or the pretty holiday Voluspa set of 6 candles I found which I also couldn’t leave without. Not even sure who I’m giving them to yet but I needed a backup gift incase there was someone I forgot.
2) Beauty products- The holidays are the best time of year to get (I mean give!) beauty products. They have all kinds of special packs, gift bags, and selections that you can’t find the rest of the year. Some of the ones I chose for my gifts are the Smashbox lipgloss kit and MAC’s brush kit.
3) Sunglasses- sometimes buying clothes for friends or family can be so hard. It’s hard to judge what will fit someone’s body by looking at clothes on a hanger, even if you know their size. A great alternative is sunglasses- like these amazing pair I found (which happen to be red too for that extra holiday flair.)
I got all of these gifts at Nordstrom, which has been a go to holiday shopping spot of mine for as long as I can remember. WIth arguably the best return policy in the world you never have to worry if someone “won’t like it”.
Good luck everyone and happy shopping!
