Wearing a suit-esque look for a woman can be hard to pull off. I happen to love the androgynous look but there are some great ways to switch it up to make your look still have touches of feminism. Since I’m wearing really loose baggy trousers I wanted something lighter on the top- a long blazer would have drowned me in fabric. Love this cropped, structured Barbara Bui blazer. The short cut adds that little bit of edge that makes the suit look stand out. Also instead of a basic black belt I paired my look with a fun, printed Isabel Marant belt. The belt, along with the multi color Proenza bag gives the outfit just the right earthy pop of color- perfect for fall. And of course wearing my favorite flats… from my shoe line Peace Love Shea x Steve Madden- the Ventura. :)
Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend! XO
