Here is part two of the photo diary I created for Gucci’s new fragrance, Gucci Premiere Eau de Toilette! As I said in the first post, I was really trying to emulate old Hollywood Glamour, as well as create a visual of a successful, powerful, independent woman. The type of woman I am (or hope to be). We are so lucky to live in the present day where a woman’s intelligence and voice is of equal importance to that of a man. We have the power to be anyone we want to be, chase our dreams and find great success in whatever we do. As someone who created a successful business on her own, I hope to be a voice of inspiration to women all over the world.
This part of the story was shot in the bar/billiard room and powder room of an old Hollywood mansion. My idea here was to show a woman in the powder room as you would expect – looking in front of the mirror, toying with her hair… But also the powerful woman who would feel right at home in the billiard room with a martini, a beret and stack of old books. She is the smart but stunning, opinionated but classy woman – a la Blake Lively.
