It’s that time of year again- where the fashionable and the beautiful flock to NYC to be the first to see (or be seen.) Thousands of models, editors, and street style photographers line the streets of New York and brave the freezing cold (literally) all in the name of fashion. It seems glamorous but really its more like an episode of Survivor- avoiding ice on every step, hypothermia, traffic like you can’t believe and the never ending headache of always being late. But at the end of the struggle there is beauty, seeing the work of inspiring designers first hand in person for the first time.
This year I arrived a bit early to avoid the hectic last minute rush and these were a few of my pre-fashion week looks. A lesson in how to be fashionable in the cold maybe!
