During my one day in Venice I visited two islands about an hour boat ride from the city, Murano and Burano. Murano is famous for it’s glass blowing, which is sold all over the world. And, Burano – a teeny island of the most vibrant colored houses I’ve ever seen- looks like something that could only exist in a dream.
I had to split my day in Venice up into two posts (hopefully you saw yesterdays post here) because I had so many wonderful pictures I wanted to share with you all.
I was really happy I wore an all black outfit because anything colored would have taken away from the stunning background.
If you are traveling in Italy, it really is a must see. It’s one of those places where you can really say “pinch me I must be dreaming.”
