Although the snowstorm (worst they’ve had in 100 years!!) really put a damper in our visit to Kiev I’m grateful for the one sunny day we got to explore the city. We visited the beautiful Kiev Pechersk Lavra which one is one of the cities most amazing attractions, a monastery built in 1051 where you can still walk deep into dark caves where the monks once lived. Such a memorable experience.
We also had a lunch of potato pancakes and Borsch soup at a typical Ukranian restaurant (that reminded me of where Snow White would live) thanks to our amazing tour guide Ksenia.
The weather was pretty good this day and I was perfectly comfortable in my basic jeans, new leopard coat and fav white loafers. Perfect outfit for walking around the city.
I was able to meet a lot of amazing Ukrainian designers attending Mercedes Benz Kiev Fashion Days, I’ll share some photos soon and introduce you to some amazing brands I discovered on my trip.
Now I’m on my way back to Los Angeles! I can’t wait for sunny warm weather. So excited!
