While visiting my family over the weekend we decided to drive up to the mountains for a day, no snow yet of course but beautiful none the less.
We came across this picturesque open yellow field with a background of charred trees that had been burned in the past few years due to a wildfire. Having a car full of clothes, as I always do, I had an idea to create kind of an impromptu “wildfire” inspired photoshoot with an outfit of the moment I really love.
The monotone outfit trend from spring/summer has also transitioned into fall. Wearing navy on navy, jade on jade or in this case oxblood on oxblood is a favorite fall trend of mine. Love the dark tye dye print on the pants as well.
I sure wish I could have a background like this everyday. Growing up in inland southern California in the countryside wildfires were a very dangerous threat time and time again, it’s very scary but also a part of nature and the circle of life.
P.s. The fire photos are not mine, they were for inspiration.
