Bali, an island much larger than I ever realized (it takes a good 5 hours to drive from one side to the other), has so many different elements. On one hand there’s beach and resort life, and on the other hand there’s volcanos, mountains and jungles- life hours away from the crystal clear beaches we see in magazines, but beautiful and captivating all on it’s own. I was offered this fantastic chance to visit Bali and so much of what it has to offer from the fabulous The Mulia, Mulia Resort and Villas– a renowned 5 star resort in the Nusa Dua part of Bali. Complete with it’s own private beach, kayaks, paddleboards, 8 restaurants, spa and more it was a vacation to die for. So this first post is a photo diary of what I experienced and loved about Bali and it’s beach cities- and next week we’ll head into the jungle.

What to pack: Bikinis (duh) Above I’m wearing Je M’en Fous Pink Bikini Cover ups- sarongs, mini dresses. Flip flops, sandals and espadrilles. You don’t need heels. Sunscreen A hat My favorite beaches: Padang Padang- Hands down my favorite beach I visited in Bali. It’s exactly what I imagined in my dreams. Electric turquoise water, white sand and black volcanic rocks covered in bright green foliage. Nusa Dua- If you’re looking to do water sports this is the beach to go, from jet skis to parasailing, wakeboarding and more you really can do it all. Suluban Beach, Uluwatu- Get ready to walk down hundreds of stairs. But it’s beyond worth it. Filled with surfers, crystal clear tidepools and make sure to have a drink at SingleFin before you head down. Restaurants/ Bars: Soleil at the Mulia Resort: Amazing Sunday brunch, fresh oysters, crab and more. Mexicola: In Seminyak. Super fun, young, lively crowd. Beautiful sunkissed skin girls in shorts and flip flops meet surfers galore. Singlefin: Perched high up on a cliff in Uluwatu I’d argue this restaurant/Bar has one of the most beautiful views in the world. Throws a big Sunday night party under the stars. What I’m wearing: Pink Bikini from Je Me En Fous | Valentino espadrilles | Spell & The Gypsy Collective White Crochet Dress | Reformation yellow floral dress | Photos by: Jones Crow
